Instead of comparing myself to someone else, or even to what you used to be, change focus and look at what you will become in the future
I did a little bit of clothes shopping yesterday and I am convinced that some dressing room mirrors are designed to emphasize our flaws.
While I was critiquing myself in the that piece of glass, I realized that instead of comparing myself to someone else, or even to what I used to be, I needed to change my focus and look at what I have become and what I will become in years ahead.
There is nothing wrong with working hard and being fit, but we can’t let our perceptions about our appearance or weight ruin our day (or our week!). If you want to improve, do so, but remember that God doesn’t see you through your mirror.
Remember to see yourself through God’s eyes;
You are beautiful!
