Put sunflower seeds and whole flaxseeds in a bowl and cover with water. Cover the bowl with a cloth or lid and soak for a couple of hours until soft
Drain the seeds and add them to a blender
Add 2 cups of fresh water to the blender and blend for a minute or 2 until the sunflower seeds are finely ground
Pour the sunflower seed mixture through a juice bag or nut milk bag into a jar or pitcher and store in the fridge for about 2 days.
Notes
* The nutrient/calorie counts don't take into account that the sunflower seeds are strained from the final recipe, as a result the calories of the sunflower seed milk are actually lower than what's listed here
