Making homemade chocolate kisses is easy to do with a few tips and tools! our version is top 8 free, and you can make these with any chocolate you love, even sugar free/keto, or paleo chocolate!Top 8 free, vegan (when made with Nestle Simply Delicious or Enjoy Life chocolate). Free of: dairy, eggs, peanuts, soy, tree nuts
Melt your favorite chocolate either in the microwave or in a double boiler on the stove (I usually just put a bowl into a saucepan with a little water for my "double boiler").
Carefully spoon the melted chocolate into the silicone large chocolate chip mold. It makes it easy to just fill the kiss molds to the top, but not overfill them. If you happen to overfill them, you can scrape across the top of the chocolate to remove the excess chocolate.
Tap the filled mold onto the counter several times to settle the chocolate and release air bubbles.
Take a toothpick and press it into the chocolate down to the very bottom of each well of chocolate, moving it around a little to get rid of the air bubble that will forms in the top of the chocolate kiss.
Tap the mold on the counter again several times firmly.
Chill the mold in the fridge or freezer just long enough to firm up the chocolate to remove it from the mold. Remove from the mold and store at room temperature.
Striped chocolate kisses:
Melt 2 kinds of chocolate (white and regular dark or semi-sweet).
Slowly drizzle a thin drip of one kind of chocolate into the mold to make lines. I found if I went too fast, the drizzle wouldn't get into the mold very well. You can use a spoon to drizzle, a chocolate drizzle tool, a squeeze bottle with a small opening, or a plastic bag with a small piece cut out the corner.
Chill the molds with the drizzle just long enough to set the chocolate.
Pour your second type of chocolate into each mold, tap on the counter and insert a toothpick to get rid of air bubbles.
Chill until chocolate is set and remove the kisses from the mold.
