Wash and cut the lemon in half, then cut the half into 4 pieces.
Blend the whole lemon (with the rind/peel) in a small blender with the rest of the ingredients.
Pour through a strainer into a glass with ice and serve immediately.

To make a 4-serving pitcher:
3 cups cold water
1/4 cup + 2 Tablespoons unbleached cane sugar
2 medium lemons, seeds removed, cut into quarters
1 1/3 cups ice cubes
1/4 cup coconut (or oat) sweetened condensed milk
