1cupsto 1-1/2 cups unsweetened almond-coconut milk(depending on how thick you want your smoothie)
1/2medium apple, peeled and chopped(full flavored apple)
Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth, adding vanilla protein powder if you choose.
Drink immediately, enjoy!
For a nut free smoothie: replace cashew butter with SunButter, and replace almondmilk with another non-dairy milk for a nut-free smoothie.For a lower sugar smoothie:remove dates and add 3-4 drops of Stevia. Reduce liquid slightly (about 1/4 cup) to make thicker if not adding dates.
