Last week we had several days of what seemed like uninterrupted rain and dreary clouds. This is awesome for all the grass and livestock, but not so great for my psyche – I was getting bummed being inside! Our yard consists primarily of mud and the wind is horrible, so staying inside was inevitable.

It was a good thing my Zola goodies came that week! It was my slice of paradise while I waited for the wind and rain to go away.

I have been drinking coconut water on occasion lately to help with my electrolyte balance, so I was looking forward to trying out Zola’s coconut water and acai juice. Coconut water makes a great workout drink since it has a little bit of natural sugar and plenty of electrolytes to keep you hydrated during exercise, and acai contains omega fatty acids and antioxidants that can aid in recovery.

Look how bright and cheery this package looks!! They even sent a cute pair of shades, too, for when the sun finally decides to shine uninterrupted for a full day. Since I won’t be able to get away to the tropics for vacation, this package from Zola is a great stand-in.

I have tried several different brands of coconut water over the last couple years and the Zola coconut water was one of the best I have tried. It tasted clean, pure, and crisp. I wasn’t too sure I would like the coconut water with the pulp in it, but I loved it, too! The acai juice was awesome, too!

I mixed the acai juice with the coconut water for a delicious cocktail. I would love to see an acai juice from Zola that has less sugar in it and some stevia for people like me who are watching their sugar intake.

Not only are the drinks delicious (definitely the best I have tasted!), but they are certified organic, kosher, non-GMO, and vegan as well. Zola is committed to agricultural sustainability and truly caring for the communities that grow the coconut and acai that comprises Zola’s drinks. Check out the videos on their website to get a glimpse into the Zola process!

    • They have great quality drinks! I actually learned a lot reading through their website and watching their videos – it’s cool to watch how the acai berry is harvested!
