Need your workout to be portable and easy to take with you? Check out the Go-Anywhere Bodyweight workout and my favorite music to pump-up your playlist!
Whether you travel frequently, prefer to exercise at home, or want to squeeze in a quick workout at your office, it helps to find fun and functional bodyweight workouts that can travel with you or workouts you can do anywhere.
Life is never predictable, so its best to be prepared to stay active wherever you end up. This winter has been a tough one almost everywhere (well, except Florida maybe!), and plenty of traditional gym-goers were stuck at home on bad snow days.
If you are traveling or stuck somewhere without workout equipment and little space, try the Go-Anywhere Bodyweight workout. This workout is just that: you can take it anywhere you have the space to lie down. Give this workout a try the next time you want to get a quick strength-training based workout without equipment.
You can even do the tricep dips on the floor without a chair, bench, or step available. If you want to make this workout a bit longer with cardio mixed in, add some burpees, mountain climbers, and jumping jacks into the mix to keep your heart rate elevated.
Alternating Jump lunges
Superman
Here’s my accompanying video that walks you through the first round of the workout. This workout is easily customizable too! Beginners can adjust this workout by doing regular static lunges and static squats instead of jump lunges and jump squats. You can make this workout more difficult by beginning your descending ladder at 15 instead of 10. Have fun with this workout!
