If you’re looking for an easy but beautiful treat to make for Valentine’s Day, you’ll love our berry Oreo truffles!
These are a twist on our other Oreo truffle recipes using raspberries, strawberries, and birthday cake flavored sandwich cookies.
We didn’t make these with actual Oreo brand sandwich cookies (we used Goodie Girl cookies), but I call them “Oreo truffles” so people can find this recipe easier. But these are still incredible and so fun for Valentine’s Day!
If you want a natural truffle recipe that is grain free, check out our strawberry coconut truffles. We’ve also included both of these recipes in our allergy friendly Valentine recipe roundup.
Why you’ll love this recipe
Oreo truffles are a really easy way to make treats for special occasions, and we dressed this truffle recipe up with strawberries and raspberries for a pink color for Valentine’s Day!

Our berry cookie truffles are also great for other times of year besides Valentines Day, such as Easter, Mother’s Day, or summer parties. Just change up the sprinkles or skip the sprinkles altogether just use the strawberry white chocolate drizzle.
How to make strawberry raspberry Oreo truffles
Here are the steps for making our berry pink cookie truffles! This is just an overview of the steps with photos, the full recipe card is at the end of the blog post.
Prepping the strawberry and raspberry powders
If you buy pre-powdered strawberries and raspberries, you’re good to go!
But if you have freeze-dried whole or sliced strawberries and raspberries, you will need to crush or grind them up with either a food processor or a mortar and pestle, then sift it to remove the strawberry and raspberry seeds.

You should have a fine strawberry powder and raspberry powder that you can measure into your recipe. Prep each fruit separately so you can measure them out individually into your cookie crumbs.
Making the Oreo truffles
- Add 12 gluten-free sandwich cookies to a food processor and process into crumbs. I used the Goodie Girl birthday cake flavored sandwich cookies.

- Add the freeze-dried strawberry powder and the freeze-dried raspberry powder to the cookie crumbs, along with the vanilla and dairy free butter.
- Process again until the cookie crumbs are moistened, everything is mixed well, and sticks together and resembles crumbly dough.
- If you want a brighter or deeper pink color, you can add some natural pink food coloring as well (we didn’t add any to ours).

- Roll the cookie crumb dough into balls 1-inch in size or less (these are rich so smaller ones are preferred) and place them onto a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Melt some dairy free white chocolate (we use Enjoy Life) and dip the cookie balls into the melted chocolate and set back onto the parchment lined baking sheet. If you aren’t a fan of white chocolate, you can use regular rice milk chocolate or semi-sweet chocolate instead.

- Once your Oreo truffles are dipped, you can sprinkle them with Valentine’s sprinkles or drizzle with some strawberry white chocolate.
- For the strawberry white chocolate drizzle, melt some dairy free white chocolate and add a pinch of freeze dried strawberry powder and stir until mixed well. Add it to a small ziploc bag with the corner snipped off, a small piping bag, or a drizzle spoon, and drizzle over your truffles.
- Allow everything to set at room temperature and store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.

We liked the dairy free butter in these cookie truffles as a binder, but you can use other options instead, such as dairy free cream cheese, Sunbutter (like our regular Oreo truffles), or cashew butter.
What sandwich cookies can I use for this recipe?
Since the gluten free Oreo cookies have soybean oil in them (which we can’t have), I used the Goodie Girl birthday cake sandwich cookies for these truffles.
However, if you can have soybean oil and want to use actual Oreo cookies, you can use the gluten free golden Oreos for this recipe (or the regular golden Oreos if you don’t need gluten free).
Here are a few other options for gluten free vanilla sandwich cookies for this recipe:
- Kinnittoo vanilla sandwich cookies
- Glutino sandwich cookies (the vanilla ones contain eggs)
- Great Value gluten free sandwich cookies (contains soybean oil and has a may contain statement for other allergens).

Gluten Free Strawberry Raspberry Oreo Truffles (Dairy Free)
Ingredients
For the truffles
- 12 Goodie Girl birthday cake sandwich cookies (or gluten free vanilla sandwich cookies)
- 3 Tablespoons room temperature dairy free butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons freeze dried strawberry powder
- 2 teaspoons freeze dried raspberry powder
- ¾ cup Enjoy Life dairy free white chocolate chips
For the strawberry white chocolate drizzle
- ¼ cup Enjoy Life white chocolate chips
- ¼ teaspoon freeze dried strawberry powder
- Valentine sprinkles, optional
Equipment
- Food processor
- Dipping fork
Instructions
- If you have freeze-dried whole or sliced strawberries and raspberries, crush them or grind them into powder with either a food processor or a mortar and pestle, then sift to remove any seeds. Set the powder aside.
- Add the gluten-free sandwich cookies to a food processor and process into crumbs.
- Add the soft dairy free butter, freeze dried fruit powders, and vanilla to the cookie crumbs and process again until it sticks together and forms a type of dough.
- Roll the cookie crumb dough into balls about 1-inch in size or less, and place on a parchment lined baking sheet pan. These are rich, so I recommend not making these larger than 1-inch in size.
- Add the dairy free white chocolate chips to a microwave safe bowl and heat for 30 second increments, stirring after each heating segment, until the chocolate melts completely. If you don't like white chocolate, use rice milk chocolate or semi-sweet chocolate instead.
- Using a dipping fork, dip the cookie truffles in the white chocolate, allow excess chocolate to drip off the truffle ball, and place back on the parchment paper.
- Once your Oreo truffles are dipped, you can sprinkle them with Valentine's sprinkles or drizzle with some strawberry white chocolate.
- For the strawberry white chocolate drizzle, melt some dairy free white chocolate and add 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon freeze dried strawberry powder and stir until mixed well. Add it to a small ziploc bag with the corner snipped off, a small piping bag, or a drizzle spoon, and drizzle over your truffles.
- Allow everything to set at room temperature and store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
