Want to learn some new cooking terms, find some new recipes, and enjoy a fun game? Check out the culinary word game Tasty Words 2!
Did you know that in 2015 there were more than 227 million blogs in the blogosphere (what we bloggers lovingly call our little piece of the internet)? In 2019, those estimates are even higher, some estimating over 500 million!
It is difficult to say how many of those blogs were food blogs, but we can guess there are a ton of them. You can learn some new cooking techniques and discover new food blogs with a fun game called Tasty Words 2.
We teamed up with a mobile game developer Second Gear Games to put together a word game that features a selection of our best pictures and tasty recipes in order to please your eyes and challenge your brain 🙂
Playing a game – the best way to learn!
It is scientifically proven that you learn better and faster while having fun. If you are a home chef, or just someone who loves everything about food, there is a wide variety of resources out there that you can use to learn new recipes, cooking and presentation tips and nutritional information.
What this game adds to the mix is a bit of fun and a format that is uncommon for food blogs: recipes as word and find-the-difference puzzles.
Second Gear Games and Skillets and Pots would like to thank all the food bloggers who agreed to participate in this game by submitting their unique and delicious recipes.
Here is the list of the amazing food bloggers! Our special thanks go to to: 500 Spatulas, Babaganosh, Chipa by the dozen, Delicious on a Dime, End the Fork, Food La Bouffe, Lights Camera Bake!, Limitless Allergies, My Diaspora Kitchen, Nerdy Mamma, OH, The Things We’ll Make!, Ramona’s Cuisine, Skillets and Pots, The Fiery Vegetarian, The Fit Cookie, Veggie Fun Kitchen, and Whole Food Bellies.
Don’t just take our word for it. The game is free to download and play. It is available for Apple and Android phones and tablets. You can play the game in any of the 5 languages: English, French, Spanish, German or Russian.
Practice culinary vocabulary in a new language of your choice, or just play in your native tongue for fun. Each puzzle links back to the original blog post with a recipe provided by our contributors.
