If you’re visiting Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, be sure to check out The Glass Factory. It’s a great place to visit with your family and see glass art

Hey friends! It has been a few days since my last post – stuff has been getting busy this summer! I wanted to share my last travel post with you from our trip to Mexico, and today is my birthday! Yay 😉
During the City Tour we took a little trip to The Glass Factory Cabo San Lucas. It was pretty cool to watch the glassblowers make things and see all of the beautiful glass artwork in the building!

The front of The Glass Factory. The windows of the building are all stained glass with different images in each window

The main doors of the glass shop are decorated with glass ornaments

We watched a fun glass blowing demonstration. It’s neat to see how they add the colors and shape the glass! Here’s a video I made so you can watch the glass blowing in action:

I thought at first they would make a vase out of the glass, but it ended up being a beautiful swirled glass bowl

They showed us how hot the bowl was by putting some newspaper inside which quickly lit on fire

The Glass Factory had a couple different areas: the glassblowing area with the kilns…

…and the shop with all the glass products you can buy.

The building itself was a work of art, decorated with the Glass Factory’s own colored glass.

Part of the glass factory had a beautiful glass mosaic floor with a fountain and a glass spire above. It was beautiful! The photos don’t compare to the real thing.

The shop was filled with tons of beautiful glass ornaments, dishes, vases, light fixtures, and more.

The front door of the glass shop also had beautiful stained glass around it

The vases are so pretty and unique!

We picked up a couple small items to take home, including these cute glass flip flop earrings and this unique shooter glass

Hello,
Is there a way I can buy large glass blown hearts and have them shipped to San Diego?

Hi Cindy, I don’t remember if they have Christmas ornaments with Santa or not, but I know they have some regular/plain glass ornaments.

Do you know what the price range of the vases and bowls are?
I actually can’t remember how much the vases and bowls were, but I do know that some of the people with us bought some and had them shipped home, so they do ship to the US. I asked my husband and he can’t remember either, but I think they may have been around $200-ish
