Hey friends, I have another recipe for you this week! Although I’m not a big smoothie drinker, I have been having a lot of fun making them and coming up with some fun and creative smoothie bowls.
My recipe for today (it’s Good Friday btw!) is a delicious and super smooth Vanilla Chai Hemp Smoothie Bowl made with the new Hemp Protein Smoothie blends from Manitoba Harvest. Not only is there a recipe, but I’m also sharing a coupon code and a giveaway!
Manitoba Harvest sent me a smoothie pack with their newly released Hemp Protein Smoothie drink mixes that were just added to their line of hemp products. The Hemp Protein Smoothies are a blend of their higher protein Hemp Pro 70, organic coconut sugar, organic harvest greens blend (spinach, kale, broccoli), and natural flavoring.
The Hemp Protein Smoothie drink mixes come in 3 flavors: Mixed Berry, Chocolate, and Vanilla Chai. I used the Vanilla Chai flavor in this smoothie bowl recipe. I haven’t tried the chocolate flavor yet (I’m giving that one away!), but the Mixed Berry and Vanilla Chai flavors taste delicious!
If you’re looking for another healthy protein option for variety in your diet or you need to try something that won’t aggravate food allergies, then the Hemp Protein Smoothies are a good choice. The protein mixes well and blends smoothly, even without a blender (Blender Bottles work great with this protein).
You can blend this smoothie mix with your favorite milk or non-dairy milk, or whip up a smoothie or with it. I have used the Hemp Pro 70 in baking as well and it works great in pancakes!
Vanilla Chai Hemp Smoothie Bowl
Gluten free, vegan; Free of: dairy, eggs, peanuts, soy
- 1-1/4 cup unsweetened cashew or almond milk
- 1/2 cup Vanilla Chai Hemp Protein Smoothie mix
- 1 banana
- 3 Tablespoons gluten-free oats
- 2 Tablespoons hemp hearts
- 1 Tablespoons chia seeds
- 1-1/2 teaspoons homemade chai spice mix
- Dash salt and Vanilla Stevia drops to taste
- Toppings: hemp hearts goji berries, chia seeds, granola, etc.
- Combine all ingredients in a blender or NutriBullet and blend until smooth and combined
- Divide into 2 bowls and top with your favorite toppings
- Serve immediately
