New UPDATE (6/23/17): Ellie (which was out of business for a while) has relaunched sometime in early 2017
UPDATE: PV.body changed to Ellie (check out my review of the new clothing and company)
New clothing can be a powerful motivator for women. Clothing makes a nice reward for hard work, it makes us feel good about ourselves, and it helps us show off all of our hard work.
I love getting new clothing as much as the next girl, but I am a frugal person, so making sure I can find good quality clothing at affordable prices is very important. Certain brands of clothing are out of my reach just because the prices don’t fit our budget.
This is why I was excited to try out PV.body, a fitness clothing subscription service where you can save a bundle on cute and functional clothes to move in. You pay $39.95 per month for a high-quality top and bottom that would normally retail for $100+.
They work with brands such as Nux, Nike, Hard Tail, and more. Simply sign up, fill out the style/size questionnaire, and wait for the clothing to come to your doorstep! If something doesn’t fit right, you can easily send it back. My favorite part: you can still dress nicely while saving money. Win-win!
You can save more money and get 20% off
PV.body sent me one of their packages to review and I got it the other day! I received a nice t-shirt by 15 Love (which would probably retail for @ $50) and a pair of ankle tights by Nux. The pants are nice, but too small, so I am going to send them back, but I love the shirt (it’s even in my favorite color!!) and it fits perfectly. I really love the PV.body concept, so I may sign up for a month or 2 to see what else I can get!

Hi Sarah Jane! I use to be a huge fan of Ellie, their work out gear fit perfect! I was really sad when they went out of business. Any similar brands you can recommend? I tried fabletics and hated the quality! I miss my Ellie! Thanks!

Hi Abby! I liked the Ellie items I had, too, and thought they were great quality. I don’t really know of other brands that have similar quality that are subscription based. I have heard mixed reviews of Fabletics, that their quality has dropped and the customer service is lacking. Right now I do know there are some smaller brands like Albion, Soybu, and Cozy Orange that have good quality clothing, but they aren’t subscription services. prAna and The North Face also have great quality too!
