This delicious Ginger Apple Sparkling Cider is the perfect chilled drink for fall! It also has less sugar than regular sparkling cider so you can enjoy this drink during the holidays and still meet your health goals
Step aside, pumpkin, we have some more fall apple recipes coming your way!
We’re loving apple cider in our house lately, especially my kids. We made some homemade apple butter a while ago, Apple Cider Pancakes, this delicious and fizzy Ginger Apple Sparkling Cider, and I’m gearing up to post a hot drink recipe next week (stay tuned!). We are definitely embracing apples this season 🙂
Around the cooler fall months, we always think about hot drinks for parties and gatherings, but this fall I wanted to make a fun chilled drink that’s still full of seasonal flavors and perfect for holiday gatherings with friends. This Ginger Apple Sparkling Cider is delicious, crisp, and lower in sugar, so it’s perfect for anytime or for parties!
If you make this an adult drink, you add a splash of bourbon to your glass or whatever liquor you like to pair with ginger ale. If you’re making this for a party or large gathering, make a big batch of non-alcoholic sparkling cider and then add bourbon (or the liquor of your choosing) to the glasses for people who want it so everyone can enjoy this drink, kids included. My husband and kids loved this drink!
This sparkling cider is super easy to scale, too, for larger or smaller batches. It’s basically half cider and half Zevia ginger ale (equal parts), so you can make big batches or small batches to your heart’s content. Just make sure to serve it soon so the bubbles and fizz don’t evaporate and leave your drink flat.
For garnish, I love the look of red apples in this, but green apples would be fun too. The apples I used in this recipe were variegated inside with some cool pink streaks throughout the inside of the apples, it was so pretty but I couldn’t capture it with my camera and my lighting. Something I need to work on in my photography for sure!
I used the Ginger Ale Zevia in this recipe, but you can use your favorite low/no sugar ginger ale. I think there are some other brands that make natural sugar free ginger ale, like Honest Fizz Organic and Brooklyn Crafted, but I haven’t tried those ones yet. Every ginger ale is a bit different in ginger flavor, so test some out and see how they work in this recipe!

Yay! I’ve always loved pumpkin, but I’m getting into apples more and more these days since we have our own apple tree. I love it!
