If you’re an active woman, chances are you have seen your fair share of athletic clothing and have tried quite a few! But you may not have seen clothing that is specifically designed for recovery by combining compression and copper-infused fabrics. Tommie Copper sent me some complimentary clothing to try in exchange for a review and a great giveaway for my readers! I got the Tommie Copper women’s capris, Compression Camisole, and the Active Fit t-shirt!
Hmm, copper-infused compression clothing sounds pretty interesting! But what’s it do? Here are some of the reported benefits of copper-infused clothing. I personally haven’t experienced some of these benefits, so I can’t verify them, but I love the clothing!
One of the great things about Tommie Copper is that they have a BIG heart! The company has created a non-profit organization called Tommie Cares that is committed to helping communities across America by providing fun fitness adventures to people with special needs.
The clothing is great quality! It has 4-way stretch, doesn’t lose it’s shape, washes well, and drapes nicely. Initially the first two tops that were sent were quite snug, so they sent me 2 new ones that fit great! Getting my new items was quick and easy, and I gave away the shirts that didn’t fit to some lucky friends 🙂
The fabric does seem to wrinkle easily, but I suspect that is because of the copper fibers in the cloth. I love my Active Fit T-shirt! It’s so comfy and feels amazing. My capris fit a little odd: snug in the thighs and a bit loose in the waist and lower rise.
When I bend over I have to keep pulling them up, but I think I could have gotten a size smaller. I usually err on the bigger side when ordering clothing since I’m always worried about my clothing being too tight.
